Aloha Everyone,

We have been very busy working on the Malolo I and other projects. We thought it is well past time to give you all an update.

First off the framing and woodwork on the cabin is almost completed. Another week and we should start fiberglassing.

Here is a pic of the cabin and the new Sponson.

Here is a pic of the inside of the cabin. You are looking at where the helm and controls will go. at the bottom you can see our foot rest.  The whole cabin has been foamed and insulated. Foam has been injected up to the cap rail and white cooler foam is in the walls and ceiling of the cabin. This way we can stay nice and cool on these hot Hawaiian days.

Check out our new Lessons With Lanky video where we show you how we flipped over the Malolo I. The first half of building requires the boat to be upside down. Once the Hull is completed the boat will need to detached from the Strong Back Jig it rests on and turned over so we could complete the inside and finnish the boat.
